The Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade

November 21, 2016

West Hollywood’s highly anticipated spectacle rides along Sunset Boulevard, hot on the heels of Thanksgiving Day.

Tumbling down Sunset Boulevard The Hollywood Christmas Parade looks forward to kicking off its 84th year in show business, and there’s no sign of retirement in sight. Proudly sponsored by the City of Los Angeles, the parade is a cherished part of LA kitsch. While the rest of the country is caught off guard by wintry bluster and freezing cold temps, California sunshine will be keeping your family warm on the curb.

As Santa’s red sleigh is pulled on his magic route, floats straight out of Dr. Seuss, marching bands in tight formation, and a cavalry of horses trot before your sight. It might feel like the holidays are showing up earlier and earlier, but in Los Angeles you’ve got to make room for a tremendous season of entertainment and festivities. Olivia Newton-John will serve as Grand Marshall during this glittering romp, which begins on November 27th at 5:00 pm on Hollywood Boulevard.
